A Day of Thrifting

 

Yesterday was such a beautiful day out. I luckily got to spend the day in historical New Bedford, MA where my friends Kaitlyn O, Savanna and I got to go to a couple of cute shops, an awesome antique store, and eat at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. MMM I am still thinking about that quesidilla.

First Beach Day Of The Year

It's been so nice out and thankfully the pattern continued on my first day off of the week. I got to go on my first beach day of the summer/year today and I was psyched. I'm not going to lie, I had a hard time deciding which bathing suit I wanted to wear (I have several cute ones and new ones might I add).  After the beach we all got Iggy's (THE BEST CLAM CAKES EVER) and it satisfied the seafood craving I've been having. Aside from enjoying my day off I survived day two of zombie apocalypse. I'm convinced it's here, watch the news! Anyways, enjoy the photos and the weather!

$PLURGE VS. $AVE on Spring Trends

Three accessory trends I'm LOVING this season are fringe bags, sneaker wedges and skull bracelets! All of which you are seeing on celebrities, in runways and in magazines. Although big money can be spent on these trends it doesn't have to be! Here are some ideas on inexpensive alternatives to these accessories. This doesn't mean you can't splurge on them if you don't want to though! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dying for one of the leather wrap around McQueen skull bracelets :x. Too perfect!

Quick OOTD: May 23

Hey everyone! Haven't blogged in forever. I have been crazy busy with work, school and finals, but now it's summer! Hopefully I'll get back into blogging. I have a couple of ideas and requests for small posts I might do this week. Hope everyone's as excited for this weather and for summer break as I am!

Figured I'd post a quick, simple outfit of the day today. I finally did my hair for the first time in weeks (thing has been living in a high bun for an illllllll minute). Just something simple, nothing special. Although, I do have to say I am OBSESSED with these shorts. Found them at Urban Outfitters this past weekend and they are the perfect replacement to my last year's everyday denim shorts that are WAY too big for me. Wore it out with some cheetah loafers and my black Longchamp tote.

March-April Instagram Update

March and April were good months for me. Although I have had been filled to my head with school and work towards the end of this month I am happy about all the things I got to do and all the people I got to spend time with. From an awesome trip to Atlantic City to lunches, shopping trips, dinners, Whiskey, bonfires, and Easter these past two months have been fun and filled with memories. I'm excited for what this summer has in store for me and my new age of twenty-one!

monthly to avoid the super length of this one hehe.
